When I started this one I had no expectation and just wanted to read something easy. But, God! It was so BEAUTIFUL??? One of the best feelings is when you love something you didn't think you would. This is me, falling in love with The Unhoneymooners.

The story starts with a catastrophe- the wedding of Amy and Dan practically blew them off at the face by food-poisoning. Olive, Amy's twin sister, has to go to Amy's already booked honeymoon with her sole 'enemy', Ethan, Amy's brother-in-law. Uh-huh! Classic right?

Olive, a clumsy unlucky self-conscious girl and Ethan, a debonair with charming personality-The unhoneymooners began their bittersweet journey to the exotic islands of Hawaii and thought their respective companions are not what they portray them to be. Drowning in the luxury of honeymoon suite and sipping elite Mai-tais, they discovered themselves as well as their partner in the little bubble of seclusion.

The plot is not so different, right? But trust me, this book radiates happiness and relaxing vibe. The flow of writing is concise, smart and easy. It has romance, comedy, anticipation, smut, family love, loss, relationship complications, betrayal, lies but most importantly a virtual tour to Hawaii: a complete package. The duo completety abondoned exaggarated description, but still painted some beautiful landscape of the tourist places the unhoneymooners had been to- and this is something I admired. Once you start reading this, mark my word, you won't be able to stop. I practically finished it in one sitting lol.

This book portrays family bonding-the way each and every family members jumps into action and do whatever they can when one is at a crisis. The love story of Ethan and Olive is something readers can relate to. After the 'strawberries and unicorns' part of a relationship is over and the relationship faces the reality, complications arise. I personally loved that the authors pointed this fact.

Why deduct 1 star? Amy always wins every giveaway she participates in and everything she possesses or uses is free. This thing really bugged me and I found it slightly unusual. Other than that I can say the book is perfect. And the ending is just...God...*laughs and cries at the same time*

If you're in a mood for something light and easy, or want to get out of a reading slump, consider The Unhonemooners your best choice. Pick, devour and cherish!

Note: The introductory line is taken from the song Can't Help Falling In Love by Elvis Presley.
